Rhostio Speciality Coffee

Rhostio Speciality Coffee are an independent coffee roastery and community driven space based on Crwys Road in Cardiff. We roast all of our coffee in house so that it travels just a few yards before it ends up in your cup in our upstairs cafe. Our unique space boasts a rooftop with 360 views of Cardiff, retail shelves stocked with equipment to help you coffee lovers brew at home and a stocked bar so we can serve up inventive craft cocktails using ingredients we make in house.

We host a variety of events including a monthly Wine Tasting Club, Rooftop Comedy and music. Rhostio is all about crafting delicious coffee and in turn, creating a special community that thrives under our roof. We are passionate about nurturing the talents of both our team and our customers, creating a space where baristas become roasters, front of house staff double as creatives and students can fuel their late nights studying with our unique coffee creations.

Our ethos is fuelled by the passion for Wales and the local community that our founder, Tunahan, fell in love with when he moved here to study. Since then, our small team have spent hours trying various methods of roasting beans from all over the world to give you the delicious variety you get to enjoy at Rhostio. It is such an honour to be a part of the market which shares our ethos for community and shopping local.

We have previously collaborated with market legends The Real Ting and continue to collaborate with Pettigrew Bakeries and Fflocc. We can’t wait to meet you at the market and fulfil all of your coffee desires, big or small!
