Welcome to MaMa LaLa where we recreate traditional Sichuan family recipes passed down from my beloved grandmother. Nestled in the heart of Cardiff, our stall offers a delightful variety of fresh, fragrant, handmade dumplings, from succulent meat and halal options to vibrant vegetable selections. Our dumplings are crafted with love using the finest locally sourced Welsh ingredients, ensuring every bite is a testament to freshness and flavour.

We harness the quintessential Sichuan flavour Mala which translate to ‘numbing’ (ma) and ‘spicy’ (la), Sichuan peppercorns provide the numbing effect with their unique tingling sensation, while chili brings the fiery heat. Together they create a complex and addictive flavor that’s deeply aromatic, mouth-tingling and intense.
