Barry Island Spirits Co is a small, family-run independent spirits business specialising in creating premium, small-batch spirits blended with the purest Welsh water gravitated from the Brecon Beacons. The recipes we’ve developed are inspired by the natural environment around our home on the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan coastline. We focus on creating high quality, naturally great tasting spirits. Our range consists of Barry Island Welsh Dry Gin (40%) – winner of a 2021 Great Taste Award (judges said it’s a “beautifully balanced gin”); Barry Island Botanical Spiced Rum (40%) which is spiced with all natural ingredients with no artificial colours or sweeteners; Barry Island Organic Welsh Vodka (40%) and Barry Island Pink Dry Gin (37.5%).

We're currently working on some new products which we hope to launch in the second half of 2023. Our favourite and top-selling product is Barry Island Welsh Dry Gin. For us, its the perfect balance of citrus, juniper and spice. In addition to winning a Great Taste award, Barry Island Gin is stocked by Heston Blumenthal’s Michelin Star restaurant, The Hinds Head in Bray and it’s been spotted in The Body Coach Joe Wick’s home bar.
