I’m Catrin, founder of Fwdge, a Bridgend-based business specialising in creamy chocolate fudge and salted caramel dessert sauces. You’ll find fudge boxes in a wide variety of flavours at the Fwdge stall, ranging from classics like Madagascan Vanilla and Mint Chocolate, to seasonal specials like Guylian Pralines & Cream and Barti Spiced Rum & Raisin. There are always dairy and gluten-free options available at the stall too – the coconut-based Vegan collection continues to grow each month!

It’s important to me to source artisan Welsh products as inspiration for recipes and flavours; it’s wonderful to be able to showcase some of the very best produce Wales has to offer in my own products. Salted Milk Chocolate fudge is an all-time best-seller made with Halen Mon finest flaked Anglesey sea salt, and another flavour features artisan whisky from the Penderyn Distillery in Aberdare. Best-selling Fwdge Salted Caramel Sauce dessert topping is made with Welsh butter, cream and sea salt even picked up a coveted Guild of Fine Food Great Taste Award in 2019.

I’m all for inspiring creativity in the kitchen too! The Fwdge Instagram page showcases a growing collection of inventive uses for the Salted Caramel Sauce, pick up a pot and discover 200+ recipes online ranging from banoffee pie and fruity flapjacks, to millionaire’s shortbread and caramel-glazed cinnamon buns.
