Coed Organic.

We are Coed Organic. and located at Coed Hills, St Hilary, Vale of Glamorgan, growing organic veg and salad on our 5 acre site. Set up as a small Workers Co-operative in 2018 current members are Scott - Grower, Maddy - Asst grower Riverside Market and vegbag scheme organiser, and Jess - Assistant grower/trainee.

We attend the market June -Dec when our seasonally grown veg is available, and operate a year round 60 place vegbag scheme (fortnightly Jan-June) delivering to Cardiff and the Vale via a collection point pick up system.

The integrity of our organic status with the Soil Association is important to us - knowing it gives customers confidence that our produce is chemical free, and grown with soil health at the forefront of our ethics and values. We do not use animal fertilizers - relying on beautiful green manures for soil improvement and to increase biodiversity.

We are off grid - using a solar chiller to keep our harvested veg in tip top condition - and generally manage our whole site for ecological and environmental benefit.
