Slad Valley Mushrooms

We are Slad Valley Mushrooms, we grow and sell gourmet mushrooms along with mushroom inspired products. We are located in Gloucester. The business was born from a love of fungi and desire to grow sustainable food. Inspiration started with a mushroom home grow kit. All new products usually are a result of growing new species of mushrooms and trying to have zero waste throughout all our processes from start to finish. We enjoy the market and showing consumers our beautiful sustainably grown produce.

We are most proud of turning waste into food and aiding the local community where we can (we give our spent mushroom blocks to local authorities to help feed low income communities). We are currently collaborating with a local chocolate producer to create a Lion's Mane hot chocolate (still in testing). Our favourite products are our fresh mushrooms as they sum up our ethos.
