Daisy & Belle Ice Cream

Daisy and Belle ice cream was founded by Helena Gardner. The original inspiration for the ice cream came from her late grandfather, Godfrey. He was famous for his excellent ice cream, and awful homebrew! Even a decade after he died, family and friends were still reminiscing about his handmade ice cream. He never made the same recipe twice, and never wrote down his recipes, but our first recipes were based on family memories of his techniques.

Daisy & Belle Ice Cream makes ice cream by hand in Riverside - just 600m from the market! We make our dairy ice cream using Welsh double cream, and also have an ever-expanding range of vegan flavours. We specialise in the less usual flavours - you won't find us selling vanilla ice cream. Our bestsellers include White Chocolate & Raspberry, Peanut Butter & Salted Caramel, and Coconut, Caramel & Biscoff. Seasonal flavours range from Mini Egg to Gingerbread. We also won a coveted Great Taste Award in 2020 for our Lemon & Garden Mint ice cream.

You can find Daisy & Belle every Sunday at Riverside Market. We sell 450ml sharing tubs of ice cream all year round. In the summer months, you'll find us selling scoops of ice cream, and in the winter months we sell 'proper' hot chocolate - chocolate melted into milk, with squirty cream, chocolate sauce and marshmallows (vegan options too!)
