We Are Recruiting: 2 x Volunteer Board Members

Are you passionate about local and sustainable food? We are RCMA Social Enterprise Ltd - trading as Cardiff Farmers Markets - and run weekly markets in Rhiwbina, Roath and Riverside.

We exist to connect people in Cardiff with the people who produce their food - and with each other.

Our markets offer the best local food in Cardiff; fresh, sustainable food - direct from the people who produced it. We have won numerous awards and will be celebrating our 25th anniversary this year!

We are looking for two people who are passionate about local food to join our volunteer Board of Directors. We are specifically looking for a person with skills in public relations and marketing with strong skills in digital marketing. We also are looking for a candidate with human resources expertise.

The Board of Directors typically meets four times a year and is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the company. Directors will from time-to-time need to be actively involved beyond Board meetings. This may involve scrutinising board papers, leading discussions, and focusing on key issues in which the Director has special expertise.
